Under the High Patronage of His Majesty The King Mohammed VI, the Ministry of Tourism, Handicrafts and Social and Solidarity Economy, organizes in association with “Maison de l’Artisan” the 8th edition of the NATIONAL HANDICRAFTS WEEK during February and March 2024.
The National Craftsmanship Week will be a unique opportunity to bring together artisans, art enthusiasts, and sector stakeholders to discuss global challenges and issues impacting craftsmanship. Celebrating the Moroccan artisanal heritage, this event will highlight the intergenerational transmission of valuable craftsmanship.

Following the success of the first edition of the International Forum which marked the opening of the 7th edition of the National Crafts Week, and whose participants greatly appreciated the themes and the quality of the exchanges, the second edition of the « International Art and Craft Connect » forum is scheduled for February 28, 2024 in Casablanca, and will see the participation of high-level speakers and contributors.
The forum, which will bring together the national and international craft ecosystem community (institutional players, craftsmen, designers, architects, international transporters and distributors, e-commerce operators, electronic payment operators, etc.), will focus on the issues and challenges facing operators in the sector in a context offering countless development opportunities.
The trade show, scheduled to inaugurate from February 28th to March 2nd, 2024, in Casablanca with the presence of numerous national and international dignitaries and stakeholders, is a professional exhibition that promotes the expertise of Moroccan artisans and facilitates connections between them and national and international buyers and specifiers.
The MASTERCLASSES will be held from February 29th to March 1st, focusing on themes related to the stimulation of exports, improving access to foreign markets, and the levers for accelerating the digital transformation of craft operators.
The Moroccan Craft Innovation Meetings are business appointments (B2B) organized from February 29th to March 1st, 2024, to connect Moroccan artisans with innovative and creative products (or processes) intended for export with potential international funders, specifiers, and buyers.
These meetings will be organized within a matchmaking approach to facilitate networking among operators and create business opportunities based on a preliminary study of needs and interests. Therefore, B2B meetings will focus on presenting specific opportunities, product and service catalogs, as well as partnership modalities.
Over 5 days, between late February and early March 2024, a « sourcing tour » will be organized for a selection of international operators to visit production units and craft showrooms in various regions of the Kingdom.
Une sélection d’œuvres d’exception d’artisanat d’art marocain sera exposée dans le musée des Oudayas à Rabat, en partenariat avec la Fondation Nationale des Musées, afin de mettre en valeur les savoir-faire exceptionnels des maîtres artisans marocains.
A selection of exceptional works of Moroccan artisanal art will be exhibited at the Museum of Oudayas in Rabat, in partnership with the National Foundation of Museums, aiming to showcase the exceptional craftsmanship of Moroccan master artisans.
